Clancy Bundy After winning his first official award for art--$5 in his neighborhood Rosauer's children's coloring contest-Clancy Bundy knew that he was meant for a career in the arts and entertainment industry!
Clancy never lost sight of this goal. He studied art in high school and college and attended professional conferences whenever possible. He has created art projects for charity auctions, produced a series of greeting cards, and is regularly selected to create tee shirt designs for marching bands, soccer players, football teams, and all manner of school competitions.
Clancy is heavily committed to graphic design production for Eastern Washington University's college newspaper, The Easterner. His comic strip series, "Cedar Chateau," is a feature in the paper and a campus favorite. His design brainstorms have landed him the position of graphics editor for the Police blog on campus. Professionally, his artwork has been seen in The Inlander, a weekly regional newspaper. He is also staff illustrator for Home Team Sports (htsports.org), a weekly tabloid newspaper focused on local athletics.
He continues to create commissioned works (on display at Ink to Media, a local art gallery). The art of John Kricfalusi, Frank Cho, Mike Krahulik, and Tex Avery have inspired and motivated him in his pursuit of excellence in the field of graphic design in arts and entertainment, a dream he never lost sight of ever since winning that fateful coloring contest in his childhood.
